Abstract
This article examines the contemporary issues surrounding procedural laws and proposes solutions to address them effectively. With the rapid advancement of technology, the integration of e-justice into the legal system has introduced both benefits and challenges. Ensuring security, privacy, and due process in the virtual environment is crucial. Additionally, the article explores the persistent challenge of access to justice and suggests simplifying procedures, expanding legal aid programs, and leveraging technology for remote court proceedings. The issue of case backlogs and delays is addressed through streamlining court processes, investing in judicial resources, and promoting alternative dispute resolution. Procedural fairness and bias are also explored, highlighting the need for safeguards against discrimination and bias, transparency, and accountability. Finally, the article discusses cross-border disputes and the importance of harmonizing legal frameworks. By addressing these contemporary issues, procedural laws can adapt to meet the needs of society while upholding the principles of justice.
